For this new release, producer and drummer virtuoso Arthur Hnatek sampled himself playing acoustic drums only. The resulting track is a club friendly pulsating sound world between introspective Trance and edgy Electronica. Modular synth wizard OLAN! remixed the track layering some Bicep/Aphex Twin/Lorenzo Senni type techno-driven elements. Together, they investigate improvisation in the club culture through mastery of their instruments. Drahtschmidlisteg is a bridge in Zurich leading to Hnatek's studio. A gateway of sorts.
