It started with acoustic drums but the endless russian doll game ended up in a massive sub track à-la Clark or Andy Stott. Arthur Hnatek's (Tigran Hamasyan, Erik Truffaz) new tracks are once again the middle ground between the club and the concert hall, sampling his own playing, mirrored back countless times on itself.
What came first? yourself or the reflection in the mirror ? Mise En A is the sound of that quest. The prismatic heavy lines are only a faint idea of what they used to be.
